THE SAOULE GOUFFRE

The Gouffre de la Saoule, in which the Ours de Ferrère cascades, will be one of the finest examples of what the Barousse valley has been sculpted and shaped by erosion. A natural arch carved out of an enormous limestone block completes this astonishing water work. Access to the Saoule chasm is an easy walk for the whole family. A promontory allows a plunging view on the abyss.
